2Flip the mold over onto your work surface and carefully peel back the mold, allowing the fondant to come out on its own. Do not pull on the fondant or you risk distorting the design.

3Make a small assortment of pieces before you begin applying them to the cake. Distinct shapes like the berries in this mold, as well as longer, thinner pieces with jagged edges, are great. The fondant pieces need to be fresh for the correct application, so only work with a few pieces at a time and keep the rest of the fondant in a zip-top bag when not in use.
